When Joe and Louise O'Connor move into their new home in the quaint coastal town of Bayberry, Long Island, they feel as though it is a dream come true. When the disappearances continue and residents are savagely attacked by unknown predators, Louise alone is willing to undertake the task of uncovering Bayberry's secret. At the same time she learns something about herself, something which puts her at risk both for her safety and her sanity.
